Idk why my tree's dont want to show, this is what my palm tree's look like when i play renegade, does this to islands, hourglass mainley

ye, looks like you're missing the textures for you palm tree.
Try by extracting this to your data folder (it's the textures for the palm tree I think):

hmm first of all there should not be a palm tree on that side of the map?
so it's a custom map with custom texture for the tree.

To me the same thing happened but it was for replaced normal maps by some modified, sure that his problems?

I think that is my problem.. But i have my original islands.mix file in my Data, not a replacement file.

Just in case, can somebody send me the log for the original file so i can replace it..

Do you have a modified hourglass map or did you recently install a modified map before you got that problem?

Could be that you added some textures and W3D files to any specific map, as you said, not replace the map. but it sure files changed the map.

@ Soulhunter - I do happen to think it was from installing a modified Hourglass map, i think thats when the problem started to occur, any idea on how to fix that?

Try by placing your original hourglass map in your data folder then, that might fix your problems at islands too

PS this did not fix the problem for islands, the palm tree are still messed up, maybe a palm tree file is missing, but the last file i tried didn't work!

Not bad here man, just wishing the intel graphics chipset had been made to actually run 3D at a decent framerate. Even Renegade is unplayable ATM.

Yea, this laptop was SUPPOSED to come with an Nvidia GeForce 9600... I even payed for the card... I got the intel crapset mentioned in the spoiler in my signature which, on a side note is no longer accurate, I've updated to Win7 Ultimate by courtesy of Wilo's FTP.
