I have 2 problems with me.
1st : Is the guest's posts working? i tried earlier and it kept prompting me to type in a confirmation code even when i did it for almost 20 to 30 times.

2nd : When using RenList, you have to input your GSA nickname to get in to see the rooms. Here's the problem. When i try to connect into a game room, there was a error / message saying,
"Wise Uninstall"
"Could not open INSTALL.LOG file"

Edit : its fine now. What do i put for the directory? What to type in for Renegade Executable?

Edit2 : I tried my luck and put in RenegadeDemo.exe and tried joining a room. Error was, Connection to server refused... Version Mismatch.

Edit3 : Even if it was possible to join, the rooms sometimes still had the abort button there. But on top of the box had a notification which said something like "Connection to server interrupted - Game Pending" ?

You installed the first Renegade patch? Patch 1.037. Then install scripts 3.4.4.
After that install Renegade Resurrection from www.icefinch.net.

Then you dont need this RenList shit =)

Could you please clarify "You installed the first Renegade patch? Patch 1.037. Then install scripts 3.4.4. ". By patch 1.037, do you refer to the RenegadeDemo? If so mine's only 1.19.0.1.
For Script 3.4.4. i found it.

Where do i then put Scripts 3.4.4.?

Oh and yesterday (Singapore time) i tried to login as a guest which i gave a nick, Mmouse1 and i typed out my problems and the only part where i had errors was the "Confirmation Code" part.

Edit : I tried using the guest login and i noticed. There's a anti-flood system.

Edit2 : How do you get a Renegade patch 1.037? I surfed around the forums and i didn't find any kind of renegade patches.

Edit3 : Do i have to do all these in order or i can just say download RenegadeResurrection first then Renegade patch THEN script 3.4.4.

Edit5 : gamershell's download gave me a Renegade_1037_English.Exe file. Tried using the program given. Did not work. Tried http://www.fileplanet.com/85502/download/C&C-Renegade-v1.037-Patch-%5BEnglish%5D but gave me both the Renegade_1037_english.Exe and a setup of RenegadeDemo_1019.Exe. FYI both gave me the same error : Couldn't find Renegade Install Directory. You should re-install the game from CD.

2) Download scripts 3.4.4:

Double click and install it.

Download renegade resurrection:

Then try to start Renegade.

Edit2 : Do i have to be a administrator of the computer? when i move a file from one place to the other it just cant work. i'm using Mozilla Firefox.

Crysis i presume whether he has to set admins right, I think.

The administrator part i found out that i was a admin. The moving of the file cant seem to work. Example. when i downloaded Program "A", Which purpose is to start this certain game. When i move it to another place, the program "A" dosent work. and because of this, i had to download many more files which also failed. so i in the end might have to format my Computer.

If your planning to move for example a game.exe and it wont start up, thats because its missing the crucial componants.

Another problem then. When i moved the file. instead of having a icon there, it gave me a window icon. when i tried moving it into the trashcan. it said something like you must be a administrator or something to do that action.

Edit : Maybe i'll never get to play this game in its former glory every again i guess... Is there any real versions of Renegade still available? im getting more and more impatient for this game.

Edit2 : Also. When i tried double clicking Renegade_1037_English.exe, It prompted me for the install directory. Oh and, Does pirated CDs of renegade work? cause i have one but unable to get through the whole setup.

see if you can get Command&Conquer: The First Decade, it comes with renegade and 1.037 pre installed. all you need then is scripts 3.4.4 and St0rm Extreme AOW (<<-- marathon)
