Maybe you remember the serverside HUD project of campa and me. It wasn't never really finished and it can't be released only for our RenCom Server (not of technical reasons). I decided to finish it for you all and made nearly finished version but you some points to know:

1. It uses a modified version of the shaders.dll. It contains a handfull of bugfixes and new features (and maybe some new bugs^^). I remember all of them some important ones are mentioned below.

2. I doesn't include the Building-Bars but everys other change we made.

3. I didn't inlcuded any mapoverviews - I'm going to release them seperatly. Maybe you use canadacdn's ones from renhelp.

4.This HUD supports every screen resolution but maybe if you use a too small resolution some boxes will overleap.
This screen-resolution independence was not made by us! It can already be made with a pure 3.4.4. shader.dll

5. A last information to the skilled programmers here: I made the last changes on the shaderhud.cpp code and I'm a programming beginner. I just copied existing code and modified it for my purposes. Maybe you will notice that in some way when you use it or when I give the source to some of you.

*Major Changes/Features:
-HUD shows active mines of your Team
-BulletBar shows the current number of Bullets in your weapon
-fixed some issues with the radar and the mapoverviews
-every number depends now on these fontXxX.tga's except the Weaponsdescription
-Added BulletIcon (like the HealthIcon)

Hey nice hud you have there. having trouble with it could you lend a hand? heres a ss of what it looks like. (i installed just scripts 3.4.4) screen res. is 1280 by 800. (i shoved it all in the data directory)
also why does it not show money or time?? if you could help me out that would be great. i dont have enough time to figure it out and probably wont if i tried.

yes delete the shaders.dll from your data and put the shaders.dll in your Renegade folder(not data).

sure all is possible you just need to know how to work with the hud.ini and maybe you need photo edit programm like Paint.net or Photoshop with dds plugin.

best just to run at a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 or higher. much easier and most likely get better fps.

Out of all the GPS HUDs Iv'e tried, THIS one is the most exact on the radar of where everything is. Very Happy

I just wanna tell everyone, That the lowest resolution this can run in is 960 by 600 (Widescreen), And it can also run the windowed mode for that.
This is the lowest resolution you can run it, I believe, That is.

this is a pretty sweet hud... i decided after few weeks to get a nice looking hud....

the 2updates.... were is the shaders.vcproj only bit im having issue with lol

Can someone remake this hud so it also shows What building has how many life?

Cose i think this hud is by much difference then the rest the best, only now i have to press K the whole time what costs walkingtime

Nice hud ! I downloaded it and installed it but i have 2 problems i couldn't get solved yet.

1. I still see the default credits display, how do i remove it ?

2. At a resolution of 1024x768 the hud is to big for me, at 1280x1024 it starts lagging, how can i reduce the size of the HUD ?

1. open up hud.ini
and find this line: HideBottomText=true

if it says HideBottomText=false change it to true like above

if your using rr then it will be on there and I don't know a way to get around this just disable rr I guess.

2. It will take a while and alot of editing if you want to ethier me or blackdragon can explaine

RR, this was included with RSF HUD, here is the code that you should replace in Strings.ini.

@Driver, yes i think i would try it if i have more time atm. i have many exams at school but i would like to try it after them, would be nice if you could explain.

@General i dont really get it, is that to remove the default credits display ? i couldn't find strings.ini btw.
