I ask you this because I dont want a slipup when I play games like BF2, C&C, Call of Duty and end up with a failputer.

The I5 is a FAR better processor, I know someone who has one and it's wicked fast. I prefer Intel too, so my opinion's a little prejudiced.

I can't speak for the graphics, but Ebay is a HuGE risk...

My dual 2.16 processor is performance rated at 3.4 GHZ and it's far below the I5 on the price tree.

Never heard of Ginger6, and my buddy had an Acer Aspire laptop that was a "lemon" to use car terminology. Three bad hard drives, and a bad keyboard.

The 1 TeraByte hard drive is wonderful, but anything 250 GB or better is perfectly suitable to nearly everyone. Personally I need 1TB or higher because, my current 250GB drive is at a whole 4GB free space, it took less than six months to do that.
