Here is my new hud
Shaders go in the renegade folder, the rest goes in the data folder ofcourse
The downloads are underneath the screenshots in the spoilers
There are 2 versions atm:

version 1:

version 2:

2in1
-=Download=-

A new, edited version will probably come in a few weeks

EDIT: If you have a really low resolution just like cyanide showed in his screenshot, replace the hud.ini with this: -=Download=-

creators:
Soulhunter4Delta
Raptor_RSF (used 2 of his fonts)

If he read HUD.TXT and understood it, then the resolution shouldn't matter.

I think there's a tutorial on St0rm for it. Otherwise, there's a release there of the HUD like that.

It's like that because, apparently Soul didn't comprehend the bit about independant resolution. To make a texture load a certain distance from bottom right or just bottom or just right, you need to use NEGATIVE values. IE: xPosition=1000 and xPosition=-24 would load in the same place on 1024 screen width, but larger and smaller widths would be fucked up on =1000 where =-24 would keep the left edge of the texture loading 24 pixels from the right edge of the screen rather than, 1000 pixels from left edge of the screen. Same applies to yPosition=.

@Dragon, I know how to make it resolution independent, just forgot that I still had to that there, I'll fix it right now
@Ben: Sorry, dunno how to do that (you would need a hud.ini coded for the normal hud first then, and then just add the building bars and such + shaders)
EDIT: fixed, that's also resolution independent now, the links in the first post are updated
EDIT 2: If you have a really low resolution just like cyanide showed in his screenshot, replace the hud.ini with this: -=Download=-

Soul, do you have the textures from Scrin's RenegadeX HUD? If you do would you be willing to share? I'm working on remaking it with building bars and, the only thing denying me would serve to do, is slow me down.

No, I haven't got his textures, sorry.
The building icons and bars from this hud were my tries to recreate scrin's renegade X building icons and bars btw (just changed the colour, if you want I can change to colour of the building icons to white for you Wink)

Nah, I can desaturate it. They look like you ripped them right from it! Great job on the remake!

Sorry I don't think I will make it smaller, it was made for my 1680x1050 resolution so it works fine for me. I don't think I'll still make certain things smaller, but might make them smaller if I'm bored

For your question about the normal hud parts behind this hud: save this file in your data folder http://www.fileden.com/files/2010/4/12/2825446/hud_main.dds (just use "save as" or something, it's not a zip file)

The only way to shrink the HUD textures is to actually make the textures smaller. Once the textures are shrunken, you would then have to change the entire HUD.INI to match the new texture sizes.
