| Subject: How to rename W3D models? Tue Dec 21, 2010 2:23 pm | |
| Due to how W3D models work, Renaming in the common sense is not possible. How do I rename it so that the internal files are renamed too? I have some awesome ideas for some models... |

| Yes Good one Drive said it.
Import it to RenX. Re-texure it. export it with the new w3d name.
I think it should work also with hex edit ( the w3d model) But i never tested it!!! |

| open it in notepad++ and use the find feature to search the w3d for its filename. do replace every instance of its old name with the new name. same can be done to change what texture name the model uses |
