First topic message reminder :

I was wondering if it is possible to make a mod or skin or something that shows you what time it is IRL ( in real life, for those who dont know) all the time i end up being late for a tv show or to leave something or whatever, be nice to see what time it is with out having to alt-tab to the desktop.


and if anyone suggests a god damn clock i my desk i will clock you!!!!!! i just want to know if its possible and how to go about doing it, or maybe someone can make it and show me what you did. im trying to learn here

Isn't there a way to get it added to the very default hud without any scripts and stuff?

forgot to mention this, twas the reason i came back to this thread, the HUD the soulhunter provided doesnt work for me just crashes my game on load up

I put the time in the top left corner in 24 hours, disabled the seconds cuz it lagged me too much on my old pc lol

someone should .zip or .rar the hud and release it so its easier to download imo. i would do it but my old computer is glitchy and broken

I would suggest installing this on your pc first, not sure if it helps but I think it helps (I also have that problem on my new pc but not sure if this removed the problem, didn't try it yet)

I'll try the hud you want on my old computer soon and will also fix something soon so it looks more like the original hud

EDIT: Oh ye, about the hud which I released on the st0rm forums which has got the IRL time function too, I noticed that I forgot to add the hud.ini there lol, will add it there soon

I already tried that yesterday, i saw it in a post at st0rm. this is what i got.

i noticed that the download doesn't come with hud.ini, i'm relatively new to this but i'm leaning towards that is the problem.

Hmm I'm not sure but I have the same problem on my new pc so will test the hud there soon. Everything works fine on my old pc though.

i have updated everything and i cant get it working

I tested somethign:

i have 3 os,

Windows XP
Windows Vista
Windows 7

it works fine on my XP, but at vista and win 7 it crashes my renegade all the time, maybe the shaders.dll was coded just for win xp?? (maybe)

I know what im doing with huds (kinda lol [more than the average user]) and i cant get it working. Must be a missing file or something with windows 7?

Seems like it only works on windows xp (already thought it was something like that but wasn't sure, thanks crysis), it only works windows xp atm so that's probably right. But I don't really know what can make sure it only works for windows xp.

well its nice to know where the issue lies lol. im trying to figure the hud thing out on my own too, maybe i can create something and get it up here
