whats with all teh dds files?
i downloaded the daytime one and its stiill night wtf and yes i restarted renegade.

i intalled the night time map after the daytime one didnt work, and the big concrete walls behind the refinery and pp that go along the edge of the map is covered in the westwood logo...

Ask politely.

Delete the old map and light maps folder, replace with the new ones. If it's gone wrong then there is something wrong on your side.

and i said "yes i restarted renegade" so you wouldn't have to ask me.
and the last part i was just telling you what was going on so it might help you solve the problem with your files (but it wasnt your files i assume cause you said it was my renegade or whatever that was the problem)
i meant no disrespect and i'm not kissing @$$ and im not trying to patronize you cause you could be from china or something and they look at u wierd when you say some stuff cause they dont get it or misunderstand.

now if you could please tell me where to put the dds files?

What names are the dds files?
0.dds, 1.dds, 2.dds etc etc? If so, they go in a folder called mp_cty+ which is located inside your data folder.

If they are named something else, like a lot of random names. They simply go into your data folder.

You could try to find the missing texture, or ask leumdee, but he hasn't posted anything for quite some time.

already tried searching for the missing textures lol, couldn't find them anywhere

hasn't w3dviewer a function you can search for missing textures, then you could load the w3d file and search for the missing filenames. Then search for those walls or recreate from screenshot.
I'm not sure about this though. Just an idea.

Here you can see the missing textures

I think I know what the problem is. Two possible remedies here.
Firstly, try downloading the map and map model: HERE. (Unpack in your Data folder)

If that doesn't work, try downloading the textures which are called upon, but not actually used: HERE. (Unpack in your Data folder)

Let me know how you get on with these.

hmm none of your solutions seems to solve it

Have you unpacked both in your data folder? The map models missing textures are all in the second rar file.

If that doesn't work then I'm lost.....

I just downloaded it for the first time and I don't get any missing textures

yea, I'm sure it's in my data folder... it worked fine before but suddenly I got those missing textures, dunno why

Could be another map conflicting maybe.

Re-download origional maps? Then re-add additional?
