| Yes you can edit alpha in Paint shop pro.
Alpha is mostly used in photoshop but can be used in paintshop pro.

| You need to understand what an alpha channel is.
IT is also known as a mask layer because it is a whole seperate layer made up of balck and white. The white is representing what will be shown and the black is represent what will not be shown. everything inbetween that (differnt shades of ray) is basicly faded to soldid colour.
The reason it is a whole box is because there is no alpha channel and when you save Paintshop pro automatically fills it in white.
Follow that tutorial |

Follow that tutorial From my own experience paint shop pro (although my psp7) sucked when I wanted to edit the alpha channel. So now I use psp7 for the textures, and photoshop cs4 only for the alpha channels. |
