ok i think some ppl know the problem:

i use this texture for the tutorial (thx to anant)



and going to skin the med tank


here is a way how to do it, or the way i do it^^


1. cut out all the things you dont want to skin

i used the Polygon Lasso Tool for it




Selection:
when you want to select more parts hold shift



when you got select all parts
right-click and reverse selection
then you can make the next step

2. then make the rest grey
like this




3. now take the copy stamp and copy the texture into the skin
with the option " interleavecopy"



repeat this step until you like the way it looks like
i made it 2 times




You have finished
put that file in your data and be happy with your newest skin
